Who We Are

RS Social Welfare Foundation Taloda is a registered public charitable trust based in Taloda, District Nandurbar, Maharashtra—one of India’s Aspirational Tribal Districts. Established with the vision of ensuring equitable access to healthcare, education, and livelihood opportunities, the Foundation works among underserved and economically vulnerable communities.

The organization focuses on integrated rural development through healthcare delivery, medical outreach programs, digital education initiatives, skill development training, women empowerment activities, and community welfare interventions.

Institutional Timeline — RS Ecosystem

2022 — Foundation Established

RS Social Welfare Foundation was formally established to work in healthcare, education, and tribal welfare in Nandurbar district. Governance structure, compliance framework, and charitable mission were defined.

2022 — Hospital Operations Started

RS Charitable Hospital began functioning to provide affordable and charitable healthcare services, particularly for tribal and economically weaker populations. Initial focus: emergency care, maternal care, and general medicine.

2023 — Digital Training Programs Initiated

Foundation expanded into digital literacy and skill development:

  • Basic computer training

  • Typing practice programs

  • Youth skill development initiatives

  • Community digital empowerment activities

Objective: Improve employability and digital inclusion in rural Taloda.

2024 — Tribal Medical Camps Expanded

  • Increased outreach camps in remote and hilly villages

  • Free diagnosis, medicines, and follow-up support

  • Strengthened community health awareness

  • Focus on anemia, maternal health, sickle cell, and malnutrition

Shift from static hospital model → proactive rural intervention model.

2025 — Healthcare & Skill Development Scaling

  • Expansion of healthcare services and infrastructure planning

  • Strengthening CSR partnerships and institutional collaborations

  • Scaling vocational and community skill programs

  • Structured growth toward sustainable institutional model

FLAGSHIP INITIATIVE

RS Charitable Hospital Taloda

RS Charitable Hospital Taloda serves as the Foundation’s primary healthcare initiative, delivering accessible medical services to tribal and economically weaker populations. The hospital provides OPD, emergency care, diagnostic support, medical camps, and community health outreach services aimed at reducing healthcare disparities in remote regions.
