Who We Are

RS Social Welfare Foundation Taloda is a registered charitable organization working in Nandurbar Aspirational District to improve healthcare access, education opportunities, and sustainable livelihood development among tribal and economically weaker communities.

Health Care Project- RS Hospital Taloda (Charitable)

"Join Hands to Save Lives: Help Us Achieve Our Goal of Healing  Others."

RS Hospital Taloda (Charitable) is the flagship healthcare initiative of RS Social Welfare Foundation, serving the tribal and economically vulnerable population of Nandurbar district, Maharashtra—one of India’s Aspirational Tribal Districts.

The hospital provides affordable OPD, IPD, and emergency care, serving approximately 6,000–10,000 + outpatients and inpatients annually. Our clinical focus includes the management of sickle cell disease, malaria, malnutrition, maternal health issues, and other preventable and life-threatening conditions prevalent among tribal communities.

The COVID-19 pandemic exposed the critical gaps in rural healthcare infrastructure and reinforced the urgent need for accessible, local medical services. RS Hospital Taloda continues to function as a vital lifeline, delivering essential care directly to remote and underserved populations.

Guided by the principle that quality healthcare is a fundamental right, we work through community engagement, outreach programs, and collaborative partnerships to address persistent public health challenges and build long-term community resilience.

To meet growing demand and expand services, we urgently seek support for:

  • Acquisition of land for hospital expansion

  • ICU equipment and critical care infrastructure

  • Diagnostic facilities including X-ray, CT Scan, and USG

  • Establishment of a blood bank

  • A pantry hall to provide free meals for patients and their attendants

Limited resources currently restrict our capacity to scale these essential services.

Your support enables life-saving care, strengthens rural healthcare infrastructure, and directly impacts thousands of vulnerable lives.
We invite you to partner with us in building a healthier and more equitable future for tribal communities.

Foundation's Planning & your Contribution will impact on People..

  1. By having multiple healthcare facilities in one place, there will be a compounding positive impact on the health outcomes of individuals. This includes reducing death rates and disabilities resulting from road accidents, minimizing complications in the event of emergencies, and lowering the incidence of birth defects, fetal mortality, and maternal mortality. By implementing these timely interventions, people can benefit from rapid recovery and improved functionality.

  2. The availability of these facilities means that we can...

  3. Make high-quality health care accessible and affordable for tribal people living in rural areas.

  4. Develop a person-centered model of care that can be easily replicated and sustained.

  5. Offer affordable and job opportunities in healthcare to members of local tribal communities.

  6. Establish a platform for people of all backgrounds to volunteer and contribute to the cause.

  7. Enhance communication and accountability among various stakeholders,  including People like you, who are able to help, the government, NGOs, and the private sector.

  8. Provide comprehensive health care that goes beyond just treating physical ailments, including holistic healing, preventive measures, and rehabilitation services.

  9. The extension of affordable, quality health care will impact not only the day today lives of the approx. 16000 families in the nearby 83 villages but also will be a source of better living and livelihood.

  10. With so many individuals in need, even a small contribution can have a significant impact and change a life. By working together and making a small contribution, we can help people lead healthier lives and prevent the spread of these debilitating conditions.
